Privacy notice.
We collect only what we need to process your order and keep your account secure. We never sell or share personal data with advertisers.
What we collect
- Order data — your name, email, shipping address and phone number (collected by Stripe at checkout).
- Payment data — card details are processed by Stripe and never touch our servers. We see only the last four digits and the card brand.
- Cart data — your bag is stored locally in your browser's sessionStorage; we never transmit it until you start checkout.
- App data (if you pair a Bossvet device) — your pet's name, weight, feeding schedule and camera feed are end-to- end encrypted and stored in our EU-based infrastructure (Frankfurt, eu-central-1).
What we don't collect
- Third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels
- Cross-site behavioural profiles
- Audio or video from your home unless you actively tap the live-view button in the Bossvet app
Where data lives
Order data: encrypted at rest in our Vercel Postgres instance (US East, Frankfurt mirror). Payment data: Stripe (PCI-DSS level 1 compliant). Device telemetry: AWS Frankfurt (eu-central-1).
Your rights
Under GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California) and KVKK (Türkiye) you have the right to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold. Email privacy@petsynch.com — we respond within 30 days as required.
Cookies
We use one session cookie (petsynch-session) to keep you logged in and a single Stripe cookie for fraud detection at checkout. We don't use analytics, advertising, or third-party cookies.
